One evening I met one of our suppliers and he says to me ” I can send your product to space”, I told him that if I ever can tie this with the brand I’d love to. Fastforward a few weeks late, thinking our new wedding campaign, I have this song coming in mind “to the moon and back” by Savage Garden. I have it!!!
So this is what we did :
Phase 1: Launch the can into space and do PR on TV and Digital about it. Use KOL to amplify the campaign, and show that this is what big brands all over the world do, and we are the first in Cambodia
Phase 2: People who find the can when it comes down from space will win 50 cartons of beer.
Phase 3: TVC on the topic “to the moon and back” using actual footage from our can in space
As result, 500 000 people reach organically with the photos of the can in space the day of the launch, and with ads/boosting support more than 200 000 people for the video of the launch and 1.3M views on Facebook for the TVC that was also aired on 8 channels on TV, nationwide. And 3M views on all PR + 3M Views with our KOLs
We did a photoshoot of the talent to use to support our wedding promotion in stores and also run a lead generation campaign on Facebook, with a conversion rate of 26%.
And we also did OOH using all these in a keyvisual that stands out
